Which San Francisco Strip Clubs Are Open Late? Closing Times by Night (2026)

This is the question that ruins more nights out in San Francisco than any other, usually at about 1:45am. Closing times here vary by more than three hours between venues, and they change depending on the day of the week. Here is the actual picture.

The short answer

  • Latest in the city: New Century, 816 Larkin Street — until 5am.
  • Latest kitchen: Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, 1031 Kearny Street — food until 4:15am Friday and Saturday.
  • Latest on Broadway: Vanity, 408 Broadway — 3am Thursday through Saturday.
  • Everywhere else: 2am.

Why the times differ so much

Two rules drive all of this. First, California does not allow a venue to serve alcohol and be fully nude. Second, alcohol service in California stops at 2am statewide. Put those together and the logic falls out: a room with a liquor licence is effectively tied to the 2am cutoff. A fully nude room has no alcohol to stop serving, so it can keep going. That is why the latest-closing venues in San Francisco are the ones that do not have a bar — not because they are trying harder, but because nothing forces them to stop.

Closing times, venue by venue

New Century — 816 Larkin Street

Closes 5am. Fully nude, no alcohol. The latest-running room in the city by a clear margin. If it is 3am and you are still out, this is essentially the answer.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club — 1031 Kearny Street

Kitchen until 4:15am Friday and Saturday (2pm–1:15am Monday to Wednesday, 2pm–3:15am Thursday, 7pm–1:15am Sunday). Cover is $25 after 2am, which tells you plainly that the room runs past it. Last call for alcohol is 1:30am. The only place in the neighborhood serving real food at 4am.

Vanity — 408 Broadway

2am Sunday to Wednesday, 3am Thursday to Saturday. Our dining room runs until 1am Sunday to Wednesday and 2am Thursday to Saturday, and last call for alcohol is 1:30am. On a weekend we are the latest close on the Broadway strip itself. VIP tables and the bottle menu are worth sorting in advance if you are arriving late with a group. Gold Club — 650 Howard Street

Kitchen until 3:30am Friday and Saturday (7pm–1:30am Sunday to Wednesday, 11:30am–1:30am Thursday). Last call 1:30am. In SOMA rather than North Beach, so factor a ride in if you are moving late.

Condor Club — 560 Broadway

2am nightly. Opens earliest on the strip, though — 5pm on Thursday and Friday, 6pm the rest of the week. Better as a first stop than a last one.

Centerfolds — 391 Broadway

2am nightly, open from 6pm. Fully nude, no alcohol. Free entry 6–8pm every night.

Garden of Eden — 529 Broadway

2am nightly, open from 6pm. Fully nude, no alcohol. Free entry 6–8pm on Wednesdays.

Crazy Horse — 980 Market Street

2am Sunday to Thursday, from 6pm. Downtown, so the most walkable option if you are staying near Union Square.

Planning the back half of a night

  • Last call is 1:30am at the rooms that serve alcohol, even where the room stays open later. Get the order in before then.
  • If you want to be out past 2am, pick a no-alcohol room — that is the only category that runs later, and it is a legal thing rather than a policy thing.
  • Eat before 2am unless you are heading to Kearny Street. That kitchen is the outlier, not the norm.
  • Cover goes up after 2am at some rooms. Budget for it rather than being surprised at the door.
  • Hours change. These were accurate when this was written; call ahead if the whole night depends on it.

Frequently asked questions

Which San Francisco strip club is open the latest?

New Century at 816 Larkin Street, which runs until 5am. It is fully nude and does not serve alcohol, which is what allows it to stay open past the 2am alcohol cutoff.

What time do San Francisco strip clubs close?

Most close at 2am. The exceptions: New Century until 5am, Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club with a kitchen until 4:15am on Friday and Saturday, Vanity until 3am Thursday through Saturday, and Gold Club with a kitchen until 3:30am on weekends.

Why do some clubs close earlier than others?

California stops alcohol service at 2am, and a venue cannot both serve alcohol and be fully nude. Rooms with a liquor licence are effectively tied to the 2am cutoff; fully nude rooms have no alcohol service to end, so they can run later.

What time is last call in San Francisco?

1:30am at the venues that serve alcohol, with service ending by 2am under state law.

Where can I get food late at night in North Beach?

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club on Kearny Street runs its kitchen until 4:15am on Friday and Saturday. Vanity’s dining room runs until 2am Thursday through Saturday.
